Project Sensitization Workshops

The Upper Tana natural resources Management Project carried out project sensitization targeting various project stakeholders. These sensitizations were meant to enable the target participants to play an effective role in implementation of project activities and enhance community involvement in implementation. The key objectives for the sensitization workshop were to

  • Create awareness on project strategy, objectives and expected results. This would enhance participants understanding of their roles in project implementation.
  • Provide a technical session targeted at the key project implementers. Participants shared experiences on current implementation challenges and deliberated on how implementation can be enhanced

The chiefs’ and assistant chiefs’ sensitization was carried out from 22nd – 25th October 2013.
